For the first time since 2012, a WWE game is being released on a Nintendo console. WWE 2K18 is set to be released on the Switch this year and is the first game on a Nintendo console since WWE ‘12 on the Wii. An article published on WWE.com broke the news of the game coming to Switch, as well as giving it a rough release date. While the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are set to be released October 17th this year, as of right now the Switch version has the vague release date of Fall 2017.
The news however, was hit back with some negative feedback with a handful of gamers worried that the Switch game will not be able to hold up to the Xbox and Playstation counterparts. While it is clear that the Switch is not as powerful as the Xbox or Playstation consoles, it is uncertain as to how this will impact WWE 2K18.
